The Odessa region is heavily covered with snow today, and ice has formed on the roads. On Sunday, snowstorms, sleet and gusty winds of up to 25-30 m/s are expected in the region. The Service for Renewing Infrastructure Development in the Odessa Region reported this on Facebook.
Difficult weather conditions on the M-15 Odessa-Reni (to Bucharest) and M-28 Odessa-Yuzhnoye-M-14 (Odessa bypass) highways blocked truck traffic. The restrictions went into effect at 8:30 a.m. and will remain in effect for at least 12 hours.
Local Telegram channels report that power has disappeared in some localities. There are many accidents recorded on the roads. Odessa authorities report icy conditions on the Kievskoye and Tiraspolskoye highways, as well as on Shkodovaya Mountain.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center noted that bad weather is moving in Ukraine. Almost the entire territory will be covered by rain, snow and strong winds. In particular, in the Kyiv region on November 27, a blizzard, snow drifts and icy roads are predicted.
Let us remind you that back on November 12, winter weather and snow were observed in the highlands of the Ukrainian Carpathians. In particular, on Mount Pop Ivan Chernogorsky that day the thermometers showed 6 degrees Celsius.
