This year, 120 companies, government institutions and public organizations have become donors of aid to the Ukrainian energy sector.
In 2023, Ukraine received 496 humanitarian aid shipments from 34 countries with a total weight of 5,938 tons for the energy sector. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
According to the Ministry of Energy, 120 companies, government institutions and public organizations have become donors of benefits for the Ukrainian energy sector this year.
Energy companies of Mykolaiv region (657 tons), Donetsk region (494 tons), and Kherson region (454 tons) received additional assistance. A large amount of energy equipment from partners was transferred for the needs of Kharkov, Chernigov, Sumy, Zaporozhye and Odessa regions.
“Among the equipment received from partners are generators, transformers and autotransformers, surge limiters, circuit breakers of various powers, special equipment, etc. Part of the equipment received (more than 5.2 thousand tons) is has been distributed to 104 companies in the fuel and energy complex,” – the ministry said in a statement.
In total, since the beginning of the mass invasion of the Russian Federation, Ukraine has received more than 10.5 thousand tons of energy equipment from partners from 35 countries.
We remind you that Lithuania recently transferred generators, field beds and dry rations to Ukraine. Stationary diesel generators with a capacity of 160 kW are designed to provide electricity to facilities in areas where there are no (or damaged) power lines.
