Convicted of murder and cannibalism, 44-year-old Denis Gorin from the city of Aniva, Sakhalin Region, left the colony and went to war. Recruited into the PIK, Gorin, who then signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense, committed at least four murders and in two cases, as the court confirmed, ate the remains of his victims.

The last sentence was handed down in 2012. The cannibal was sentenced to 22 years in a special regime penal colony. And a month ago, a new photo appeared on Gorin’s page on the social network – in military uniform with a Z-Cheburashka on his sleeve.
“Siberia. Realii”, with reference to Gorin’s neighbor, writes that he is now in a hospital in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
In 2003, as the prosecutor’s office of the Sakhalin region wrote, Gorin was found guilty of premeditated murder and “subsequent mockery of the corpse of the murdered person.” He was sentenced to 10 years in prison; in 2010, he was released on parole for exemplary behavior. In the same year, as stated in the decision of the Sakhalin court, Gorin killed an acquaintance, after which he “decided to remember the past,” cut off the meat from the dead man and “subsequently eat it.”
In addition, in 2012, Gorin and his brother stabbed a resident of the city of Aniva with a knife 29 times near the Cheryomushki store. In 2018, the court sentenced Gorin to 22 years in prison in a special regime colony. The court report states that Gorin ate the meat cut from the person shortly after the murder.
