This was reported by the press service of the State Border Service.
On the territory of Poland, on the road in front of the Medika checkpoint (Republic of Poland), adjacent to the Ukrainian checkpoint Shegini, blocking of the movement of cargo vehicles began. In this regard, traffic complications are possible both at the exit from Poland and at the entry, the State Tax Service notes.
It is noted that the traffic blocking may continue from November 23 to November 26. It is expected that the strikers will not interfere with the movement of buses and passenger vehicles.
Earlier, Polish media reported that about 100 Polish farmers plan to block this checkpoint by joining the strike of Polish carriers, which began on November 6. On November 6, Polish carriers blocked three checkpoints for freight transport: “Korcheva – Krakovets”, “Grebnoye – Rava-Russkaya” and “Dorogusk – Yagodin”.
