At the Krakovets-Korcheva checkpoint, border guards began allowing 20 cars per hour to enter Ukraine.
At the Korcheva-Krakovets checkpoint, Polish border guards began allowing up to 20 Ukrainian trucks an hour, whereas previously only five or fewer were allowed. This was announced by the head of the NGO International Road Carriers of Ukraine, Vladimir Mikhalevich, reports Ukrinform.
“Polish protesters allow five trucks per hour to pass, but often do not comply with this. However, yesterday at the Krakovets-Korcheva checkpoint, border guards began to allow 20 vehicles per hour to enter Ukraine, but at other checkpoints the situation remains unchanged. ,” – said Mikhalevich.
We remind you that on November 6, a strike by Polish carriers began on the Polish-Ukrainian border. They are demanding the abolition of the transport visa-free regime for Ukraine. On some days, queues are tens of kilometers long.
And yesterday in Poland they announced the expansion of the blockade on the Ukrainian border. Today, November 23, on the territory of Poland, on the road in front of the Medika checkpoint, next to the Ukrainian checkpoint Shegini, the movement of cargo vehicles began to be blocked.
As reported, in Poland, another Ukrainian driver died in a parking lot near the Korcheva-Krakovets checkpoint, where a strike by Polish carriers was taking place. This is the second death since the blockade began. It is known that the deceased driver had a car with Kharkov license plates.
