On November 22, the Security Service of Ukraine was informed of absentee sentences for these deputies of the Russian State Duma.
On February 15, 2022, officials supported a resolution to appeal to Putin with a request to recognize the so-called “independence” of the temporarily occupied areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
On February 22, they voted to ratify the “Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance” between the Kremlin and the terrorist organizations of the LPR/DPR.
Let us recall that the top military-political leadership of Russia used this decision as a formal basis for launching a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Based on the evidence collected, the court found the Russian deputies guilty under Part 3 of Art. 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced them to 15 years of imprisonment in absentia.
In addition, indictments have been sent to court against another 23 Russian deputies.
