Terodefense can now perform tasks throughout Ukraine, including war zones.
President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law allowing the deployment of defense units on the territory of the Armed Forces on the front and conduct combat missions. This is proved by bill card No. 6521.
According to data on the website of the Rada, the president signed the law on June 10. Note that territorial defense fighters usually conduct activities within the territory of the corresponding territorial community.
After the law is enforced, the defense will be able to carry out activities throughout Ukraine, including in war zones and in occupied territories. The decision to carry out such tasks was made by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Previously, the relevant law was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada.
Recall that 110 thousand Ukrainians have joined the ranks of defense of the territory, more than 100 people already have state awards.
It was also reported that the Cabinet of Ministers allowed the defense to use grenade launchers and flamethrowers.
