The Marines, in cooperation with other units of the Defense Forces, were able to gain a foothold in several beachheads. Now on the left bank of Kherson, defenders continue to destroy the invaders. The command of the Marine Corps of the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Facebook on November 17.
It is noted that the Ukrainian military has inflicted significant losses on the enemy since the start of events on the left bank of the Dnieper. So, since then, Russia has lost 1 thousand 216 soldiers killed and 2 thousand 217 wounded.
In addition, the following were destroyed:
- 24 tanks,
- 89 artillery systems and mortars,
- 135 units of various automotive equipment,
- 48 units of armored fighting vehicles, including armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles,
- 9 multiple launch rocket systems,
- 14 watercraft,
- 15 units of special equipment,
- 4 command posts,
- 29 ammunition depots, both field and stationary.
And the combined electronic warfare unit of the Marine Corps neutralized 135 FPV drones and five hostile operational-tactical level UAVs.
Let us remind you that the soldiers of the Third Assault Brigade of the forest belt burned out by shells fought to occupy the enemy trenches near Bakhmut and shot at the Russian infantry until the last Russians retreated. A video of the assault was published online.
