The war in Ukraine could become a “protracted conflict” in which long-term military assistance from the United States and Europe will be essential, experts say.
During the mass war against Ukraine, Russia lost from 300 to 400 thousand dead and wounded, and in the battles near Avdiivka the invaders lost from 500 to 1 thousand people a day. The Guardian reported this on Thursday, November 17, citing a briefing by unnamed Western officials.
Speaking to journalists, they said that the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the direction of Zaporozhye “essentially ended,” and “three brigades took up positions on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region.”
They also predicted a “protracted conflict” in which long-term military assistance from the United States and Europe would be critical.
We remind you that the Ukrainian armed forces destroyed the Russian automated electronic suppression complex RB-301B Borisoglebsk-2.
As reported, Russia’s losses in the war in Ukraine on Thursday morning, November 16, reached 1,330 invaders, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 315,620 military personnel.
