Two weeks after Matthew Perry’s death, his co-star friendsCourteney Cox finally spoke out in an Instagram post published on November 14.
Grieving, Courteney Cox has yet to respond to Matthew Perry’s death on October 28, except for a joint press release from all of the “Friends” cast on October 30. The actress finally spoke out on her Instagram page this Tuesday, November 14, through a video of the legendary scene from the series, accompanied by a lengthy testimony.
“When you work with someone as close as I did with Matthew, there are a thousand moments I wish I could share. Here’s one of my favorites so far,” she explains, before detailing the video accompanying her Instagram post. “By the way, Chandler and Monica were supposed to have a one night stand in London.” says Courteney Cox, before clarifying. “But because of the public reaction, it became the beginning of their love story.” While we see Chandler and Monica in bed, the former is hiding the latter under the sheets so she won’t be confused when Ross comes into the room. The actress elaborates in her tribute. “In this scene, before we started filming, he gave me a funny line to say,” before adding, “He used to do that a lot. He was funny and kind.” A testimony that will not fail to touch the fans of the actor and the legendary couple that the two actors created on the screen.
