It is in the interests of the North Atlantic Alliance to help Kyiv, because Ukraine must maintain its status as a sovereign state in Europe. The world cannot allow Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to win. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced this on November 14 in Brussels before participating in a business breakfast organized within the framework of the Council of Ministers of the EU on External Relations on Defense.
I expect that during the meeting we will look at the situation in Ukraine, where intense fighting continues. The situation on the battlefield is difficult, and this makes it even more important that we continue and increase our support for Ukraine,” the secretary general noted.
Stoltenberg added that wars are unpredictable by nature, so no one can say how and when Russian aggression against Ukraine will end.
Let us recall that in October, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated that the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine had depleted the reserves of the North Atlantic Alliance.
