The state of Wyoming became the 32nd US state to recognize the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as a genocide of the Ukrainian people. In particular, the state declared November as the month of commemoration of the Ukrainian Holodomor-genocide. The Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, Oksana Markarova, announced this on Sunday, November 12, on her Facebook page.
He thanked Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon for his solidarity with Ukraine, and the Ukrainian public in the United States for its active campaign to preserve the memory of the Holodomor victims by organizing educational events about the crime of the Soviet regime against the Ukrainians.
Markarova also recalled that on November 25, a memorial ceremony for the victims of the Holodomor is planned in Washington, which will take place at 16.30 near the Memorial to the Victims of the Holodomor.

Let’s remember that the American states of Washington, Maryland and Arizona recognized the Holodomor in Ukraine in 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people. They also proclaimed November as the month of remembrance for this tragedy.
In July, the Italian Senate voted to recognize the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as a genocide of the Ukrainian people.
And in May, the French Senate supported the recognition of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as a genocide of Ukrainians.
