The acting governor of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra, Archimandrite Abraham, announced this today, November 12, on his Facebook page.
At the numerous requests of the parishioners of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, with the blessing of the Holy Archimandrite of the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanius, from November 15 (the beginning of the Nativity Fast) the Lavra switches to using the new Lian Church, which is celebrated for our new Church.
Let us remind you that from September 1, the WTO, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine switched to the new Julian calendar. In connection with this, the dates of fixed holidays, fasts, communions and days of remembrance of saints shifted 13 days back.
