The occupiers moved forward “with renewed vigor” and no longer stand still. In this direction, over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders have repelled 15 attacks by invaders. The Russians are trying to regain previously lost positions. The head of the public relations service of the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vladimir Fityo, stated this on air at the telethon.
Activity in this direction began with renewed vigor, the enemy there moved from defense to active defense, trying to repel the positions that were lost to him. And, accordingly, in the Bakhmut direction and south of Bakhmut, the enemy is trying to put pressure on our Defense Forces,” he noted.
According to him, the escalation in this area began last week. The Russians used to stand on the defensive, but now they are trying to find weak points in the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
During November 11, 140 Russian invaders were eliminated in the Bakhmut direction, and more than 28 pieces of equipment were destroyed. Of these, more than 10 are artillery systems of various types.
Let us remind you that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the Russian army is not abandoning attempts to cordon off Avdiivka and the enemy is using tactical aviation in this direction. During the day, the defenders repulsed 18 attacks by the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Avdeevka, Severnoe, Tonechko and Pervomaiskoe in the Donetsk region.
