145 citizens of Ukraine, nine citizens of Moldova and one Palestinian were rescued from the conflict zone.
Ukrainian citizens evacuated from the Gaza Strip have arrived in Moldova. Soon they will be on the territory of Ukraine. The press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense reported this on Telegram on Saturday, November 11.
“155 people, evacuated from the Gaza Strip as part of the mission of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, arrived at Chisinau airport on a flight from Egypt,” the message said.
It was noted that 145 citizens of Ukraine, nine citizens of Moldova and one Palestinian were rescued from the conflict zone.
Among the evacuees were many families with children, as well as a Ukrainian citizen with cancer. Upon arrival in the capital of Moldova, the woman was immediately taken by ambulance to one of the checkpoints in Ukraine, where she was met by a team of doctors and taken to a hospital in Odessa.
“The operation to save our countrymen in the Middle East continues,” GUR added.
We remind you that on November 11, 214 Ukrainians were removed from the Gaza Strip. In total, the embassy received about 360 requests from Ukrainians who wanted to evacuate from Gaza.
Earlier, the Foreign Ministry confirmed the death of four Ukrainians in Gaza, three of them children. Six other Ukrainian citizens were injured.
