The Ministry of Defense plans to establish supplies of such labeled fuel as early as next week. It will reach the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the end of November. The price, as promised by the Ministry of Defense, will not increase.
Labeling makes it possible to identify and track fuel purchased exclusively for military use and reduces the possibility of its illegal sale.
In addition, a certain color will eliminate the possibility of misuse of fuel mixing in the field. The quality of fuel for military equipment is important.
It will be impossible to dilute a labeled fuel so that the color disappears completely. Even if it is very diluted, diesel fuel will be less red or pink in color. Gasoline will also have its own green dye.
