The US is increasing pressure on Israel over its military campaign in the Gaza Strip against Hamas.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken reprimanded Israel for the impact of the strikes on the Gaza Strip, which have killed large numbers of Palestinians. He said more efforts need to be made to protect civilians, Bloomberg reported on Friday.
“So many Palestinians have been killed, so many have suffered in recent weeks. We want to do everything we can to prevent them from harming them and to increase the aid they receive,” Blinken said.
It is reported that the United States is trying to put pressure on Israel because the large number of Palestinian casualties is beginning to negatively affect relations between Arab countries and Washington.
Recall that the Israeli tanks closed a hospital in Gaza. Doctors are asking the Red Cross to help with the evacuation.
Earlier, the United States said Israel had agreed to introduce daily humanitarian pauses during military operations in northern Gaza.
