The European Commission is in contact with representatives of the Ukrainian and Polish authorities to assess the situation with the blocking of border checkpoints between Poland and Ukraine by Polish carriers. European Commission Spokesperson Adalbert Janz said this in Brussels, Ukrinform reports.
“This is something that we really keep in our sights. We are in contact with both Ukrainian and Polish authorities to assess the situation. But right now I can’t tell you more, because these contacts is ongoing,” Janz said.
We remind you that on November 6, the strike of Polish carriers began on the Polish-Ukrainian border, demanding the abolition of transport visa-free travel for Ukraine.
