After nine years without debuting any new boy groups, PLEDIS Entertainment is preparing to launch its new boy group in early 2024. As reported by South Korean broadcaster JTBC (via Soompi), the agency’s new lineup is expected to arrive soon in January.
The report published by the broadcaster also states that all preparations for the debut have already been completed, and that the new group should have five to six members, including foreign members. No names have been revealed at this time.
After the repercussion of the news, PLEDIS commented on the matter, saying: “It is true that we are preparing for the debut of a new male group from PLEDIS in the first quarter of 2024. Additional details about their debut are yet to be determined. We will provide more information at a later date and ask for your continued interest.”
It is worth remembering that this will be the first boy group launched by the company since the debut of SEVENTEEN, in 2015, which debuted with the album “17 Carat”, was released digitally together with the official MV for the title track “Adore U”. Remember!
