Subscribers were disconnected in Dnepropetrovsk and Sumy regions. Repairs are currently underway there.
Russian aggressors destroyed gas infrastructure in two regions of Ukraine. The Ministry of Energy announced this on Tuesday, November 7.
“The gas infrastructure in the Dnepropetrovsk and Sumy regions was damaged due to enemy shelling. There are disconnected subscribers – restoration continues,” the message said.
At the same time, the department noted that due to the hot weather, the level of gas consumption in Ukraine is lower than last year at this time, by more than 13 million cubic meters per day. This makes it possible to actively accumulate its reserves in storage facilities – currently there are more than 16 billion cubic meters of gas in underground gas storage facilities. There are also sufficient reserves of coal and fuel oil in warehouses.
