Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, in an interview with the American television channel NBC News, accused Russia of sponsoring the Palestinian group Hamas, which attacked Israel.
“This is not a new situation at all, it is a fire burning between Israel and Palestine. And some people are still throwing matches into this fire, and I am sure that Russia and Iran are behind of sponsoring Hamas,” Zelensky said.
In his opinion, at the negotiating table on the war between Israel and Hamas, it is necessary to put pressure on Russia, Iran, as well as North Korea, whose ammunition, as Zelensky said, was found in the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Brodsky said that Vladimir Zelensky could come to Israel for a visit at any time.
