This is stated in a message published on Umerov’s Facebook page today, November 4.
Yesterday, on my recommendation, as provided for by law, a personnel decision was made regarding the commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Major General Khorenko is now needed in a certain direction; he will continue to serve in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Umerov noted.
Umerov also noted that he would not explain the reasons for Khorenko’s dismissal.
Additionally, commenting on the reasons and prerequisites for changing senior military positions during the war would give the enemy reasons to weaken Ukraine,” he emphasized.
