Dagestanis who carried out a pogrom at Makhachkala airport during the “search for Jews” were accused of using obscene language and violating the procedure for holding a rally.
Charges are opened against participants in the pogrom in Russian Makhachkala under the article of petty hooliganism. Specifically, they were accused of “obscene language in a public place,” Mediazona reports.
District courts of Dagestan began to publish the texts of the first decisions in cases of administrative violations against participants in the pogrom at Makhachkala airport on October 30. Journalists found 15 such cases in court database, received on October 31 and November 1. The Supreme Court of the Republic also reported that 15 riot participants were placed under administrative arrest.
In all cases, we are talking about Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation – petty hooliganism, although some of the cases are listed on the court’s website under the article on disobeying the police. Journalists noted that the decisions were of the same type and quoted the phrase repeated in them:
“Full Name1 at 03:15 DD.MM.YYYYY, in a public place, in “B”, expressed obscene language, acted aggressively, did not respond to comments to stop illegal actions, thereby disobeying the lawful request of a police officer.”
In addition to the cases of hooliganism and disobedience, the courts of Dagestan have received 82 protocols on violations of the procedure for holding the rally since October 30. 56 of them took place in the court near the Makhachkala airport.
Let’s remember that on October 30, a crowd entered the Makhachkala airport and “searched for Jews” who were supposed to arrive on a flight from Israel. Rioters broke down doors in the airport area, stopped cars and checked passports. It was later learned that more than 20 people were injured in the riots.
