The occupiers’ Ministry of Defense said they shot down 13 of the 15 cruise missiles, but one missile “damaged” the ship.
The Russian Ministry of Defense admitted that on Saturday, November 4, as a result of a missile attack on the occupied Kerch, a ship located in a shipyard was damaged. The corresponding statement was published by the Russian media.
At the same time, the Russian department said they shot down 13 of 15 cruise missiles launched by the Ukrainian Armed Forces at a shipyard in Kerch.
“As a result of being hit by an enemy cruise missile, a ship located at the plant was damaged,” the Russian Ministry of Defense admitted.
At the same time, they did not specify which ship they were talking about.
In this regard, the spokesman of the Ukrainian Air Force Command, Yuriy Ignat, said in the telethon that the ship Askold, which was damaged in Kerch, also did not have time to participate in the battles. According to him, the ship is undergoing final testing work to go out and fight in Ukraine.
We remind you that an air raid alert has been announced in the annexed Crimea. The Russians set up a smoke screen near the Crimean Bridge and in Sevastopol Bay, and explosions were heard. Occupation authorities traditionally announced successful air defense operations. Later on social networks it was reported that the strike hit the shipyard and the small missile ship Askold. Subsequently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed a successful strike on the Zaliv shipyard in the city of Kerch. And the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Nikolai Oleshchuk, thanked the tactical aviation pilots for the successful strikes. “May another watercraft follow the Moskva!” he wrote.
