Unsuccessful tests of nuclear weapons carriers took place in the Russian Federation.

    .

Thus, on November 1, Russia conducted unsuccessful tests of the RS-24 Yars intercontinental ballistic missile, which is the main component of the ground component of the Russian strategic nuclear forces. The carrier was launched from a cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region, but the rocket went off course. The same thing happened on October 25 during preliminary command and staff exercises. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Intelligence noted that on October 25, the Russians unsuccessfully tested the RSM-56 Bulava ballistic missile, which was launched from the Borei submarine missile cruiser.

The GUR notes that the Russians also have serious problems with the Sarmat heavy intercontinental ballistic missile, which has been created since 2009. Moscow planned to take delivery of these weapons in 2009, but the date kept shifting. In the end, the Sarmat was put into service only in September 2023. This happened after the first and only full test was carried out in April this year.

In fact, the Sarmat is an unfinished, imperfect, crude missile, intelligence officials note.

Let us recall that on November 2, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin signed a law canceling the ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty.
