Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov announced this in Telegram.
According to him, Piranha AVD 360 is an electronic warfare system that helps more effectively protect armored vehicles and personnel from enemy drones. The complex creates a protective dome up to 600 m around itself. Under the influence of the system, the copter or kamikaze drone cannot receive commands and hangs in the air and makes an emergency landing or falls uncontrollably.
In addition, Piranha AVD 360 inhibits satellite navigation systems, for example, the Russian GLONASS.
