In the Bakhmut direction, the occupiers unsuccessfully tried to restore the lost position near Khromovo, Kleshchievka and Andreevka. Here our defenders repelled 15 enemy attacks. At the same time, the Defense Forces continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut. This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for November 2.
It is noted that in the Avdeevka direction the enemy, with the support of aviation, does not abandon attempts to cordon off Avdeevka, but the defenders are holding the line. The invaders tried to advance in the Severny and Pervomaisky areas, and seven attacks were repelled there.
In the Marinka area of the Donetsk region, the Defense Forces repelled more than 20 attacks; enemy attacks near Staromayorsky were unsuccessful.
The General Staff added that at the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to advance in the Melitopol direction, inflicting damage on the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, and exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
And in the Kherson direction there is a counter-battery fight.
On November 1, Air Force aviation carried out nine strikes on areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated and three on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
The missile forces hit five radar stations, two ammunition trains, an area where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, two control points, three anti-aircraft missile systems and 11 enemy artillery weapons.
Let us remind you that on October 29, the Ukrainian army destroyed a column of equipment of the first battalion of the 1251st motorized rifle regiment of the Russian Armed Forces. The Atal battalion, which consisted of mobilized residents of Chuvashia, suffered heavy losses.
