Bloomberg believes that they were most likely used in the war against Ukraine.
The number was announced at a closed South Korean national intelligence briefing attended by members of the ruling party. One of the deputies said that since August, Pyongyang has sent Moscow about ten shipments of ammunition. This will be enough for about two months of shelling.
Since August, there have been about 10 arms deliveries from North Korea to Russia.
North Korea also sent advisers on the use of ammunition to Russia, South Korea’s intelligence service said at a closed briefing for parliamentarians, Bloomberg said.
Back in October of this year, the United States for the first time officially accused Pyongyang of supplying weapons to the Kremlin. At that time, the White House reported more than a thousand containers with military equipment and ammunition.
