The famous Ukrainian football journalist, editor-in-chief of Football magazine Artem Frankov died at the age of 54. Sport.Ua reported this on Wednesday, November 1, with reference to the deputy editor-in-chief of the magazine which is Andrey Shakhov.
It was noted that Frankov suffered a second stroke. The journalist was taken to intensive care, but doctors could not save his life.
“Friends, with regret and sadness, we are forced to announce that on October 31 at 22:40 Artem Vadimovich died. Eternal memory,” said a message posted on Frankov’s Telegram channel.
Artem Frankov was born on July 24, 1970 in Kharkov. Ukrainian sports journalist. Honored Journalist of Ukraine (2005), awarded the Order of Merit, III degree (2012).
Since 1997 he has worked as editor-in-chief of Football magazine.
It was previously reported that the famous actor Matthew Perry, particularly known for his role as Chandler in the TV series Friends, died in the United States at the age of 55. He was found dead in the Jacuzzi of a house in the area of Los Angeles.
