Recently, the Russians feel constrained in the Black Sea and cannot maneuver freely, assured the press secretary of OK South.
Due to a storm in the Black Sea, the Russians had to move their missile carrier ships to their bases. Natalya Gumenyuk, press secretary of the operational command South, announced this at the telethon, writes Ukrinform.
“Today the weather is on our side: there is a storm season at sea. The storm forced the launch of missile carrier ships at their bases. The large landing ships were also not on duty… We observe that movements in providing logistics for they stopped because of the weather. They remained on combat duty border ships patrolling the coastal seas along the Crimea and supporting naval vessels,” said Gumenyuk.
According to him, recently the Russians feel pressured in the Black Sea and cannot afford free maneuvering, therefore, in particular, they use tactical aviation to put pressure on Ukrainian civilian shipping.
Recently it was reported that the Russian Federation brought a submarine from Caliber to the Black Sea.
Let’s recall that on October 27, Russia put three of its ships on combat duty in the Black Sea, including a carrier of Kalibr-type cruise missiles.
