Since the start of the offensive in the Gaza Strip, the IDF has lost more than 300 of its soldiers killed. Meanwhile, the ground operation in Gaza continues.
Since the start of active hostilities against Hamas, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have lost 311 military personnel. IDF Speaker Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari announced this in a briefing.
“We have now informed the families of 311 dead IDF soldiers, as well as the families of 230 hostages,” he said.
Hagari also informed that last night the IDF “widened the entrance” to the Gaza Strip.
“Ground operations in northern Gaza continue. We are moving through the phases of the war as planned, gradually expanding ground activity and the size of our forces in the Gaza Strip,” he said.
In addition, in response to fire from Lebanon, the Israeli army attacked military targets and infrastructure of the terrorist organization Hezbollah.
We remind you that on the night of October 27, Israel expanded its attacks on the Gaza Strip. The IDF entered the conflict in northern Gaza with the Hamas group. Hamas said it was ready to respond to Israeli attacks “with full force.” Israel later announced a new phase in the war with Hamas.
