Many “peace” initiatives from other countries, which suggested that Ukraine would give part of its territories to Russia, disappeared from the information field.
For six months now, Ukraine has not offered to cede part of its territories to Russia to end the war. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba drew attention to this when talking on his Instagram page about the summit on the Ukrainian peace formula, which was held these days in Malta.
Kuleba noted that the Ukrainian peace formula is currently supported by 66 states, including countries in the “global south.”
“Please note: during these six months, many “peaceful” initiatives have disappeared in the field of information, offering Ukraine to surrender territories, or to exchange something, or some other unacceptable- acceptable things,” said Kuleba.
He emphasized that now at the center of all discussions is a “fair and honest Ukrainian formula” that fully complies with the principles of the UN Charter and the main resolutions of the General Assembly.
The formula for peace in Ukraine, proposed by President Vladimir Zelensky last year, has 10 points:
-
Radiation and nuclear safety.
-
Food security.
-
Energy saving.
-
Free all prisoners and deportees.
-
Implementation of the UN Charter and restoration of territorial integrity and world order.
-
Withdrawal of Russian troops and cessation of hostilities.
-
Restoring justice.
-
Resistance to ecocide.
-
Prevention of proliferation.
-
Recording the end of the war.
As reported, on Saturday, October 28, a peace summit with Ukraine began in Malta.
