Here are a few examples that have been noticed:

    Kazan Aviation Plant

This plant, part of the Rostec state corporation, builds and repairs strategic bombers, such as the Tu-22M3 and Tu-160, from which Russia launches missiles at Ukraine.

Back in 2018, construction of a new large hangar began on the territory, but in 2022 construction accelerated – and this year it was almost completed. According to military experts, strategic bombers can also be repaired and modernized in this workshop.

    Irkutsk Aviation Plant

The profile of this enterprise is the repair and production of Su-30 fighters of all modifications.

In the period from 2019 to 2021, a hangar with access to the airstrip appeared on the territory of the plant, and this year the construction of another, similar facility is being completed. Such premises, according to aviation expert Khrapchinsky, can be used for the repair of civilian aircraft such as Sukhoi Superjet and fighters such as Su-30.

    Dubnyansky Machine-Building Plant and Kronstadt

On the territory of the enterprise in the city of Dubno, Moscow region, in particular, there is the Raduga Machine-Building Design Bureau, which produces missiles such as X-22, X-55, X-101.

In 2021, construction of a large building began here, and it was completed this year. This is a new private plant for the production of Russian UAVs, owned by the Kronstadt company (the company is associated with the AFK-Sistema holding of the Russian oligarch Yevtushenkov). The company’s profile is the production of military drones under the brands “Orion”, “Helios” and others, with various modifications – from reconnaissance to attack.
