Mingyu temporarily pauses activities with SEVENTEEN to take care of his health

This Thursday, 26th, PLEDIS Entertainment, the company responsible for SEVENTEENissued a statement announcing that the member Mingyu will need to take a temporary break from the group’s promotional activities due to severe back pain. The information is from Soompi.

According to the agency, the idol experienced “sudden and disabling lower back pain” and, after receiving medical advice, will be absent from the group’s commitments this week, in addition to adjusting his participation in upcoming activities.

“Hello. This is PLEDIS Entertainment.

We would like to inform you about SEVENTEEN member Mingyu’s health and how it will affect his schedule in the near future.

On Thursday, October 26, Mingyu felt sudden, disabling lower back pain that required medical treatment. Upon being examined, he was advised by the medical team to take time off and have his recovery process monitored.

Although the artist is determined to participate in promotional activities for the latest album, the company prioritizes his health above all else and will exercise flexibility in his schedule throughout the promotional period.

We regret to inform you that for the reasons stated above, Mingyu will not be able to participate in activities scheduled for this week, including music shows and fansign events. We offer our most sincere apologies and ask for your understanding on this matter.

We will do our best to help Mingyu in his recovery so that he can return to his fans in full health as soon as possible, and we will spare no effort to ensure his health and safety in the future.
