The Kyiv city society has allocated 1 billion UAH for the needs of the Marine Corps group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The commander of the attack company “BIRDS OF MADIAR” announced this in his Telegram.
76 city deputies voted for assistance, none against. It is unknown what exact needs the financial assistance will be used for.
Earlier, Robert Brovdi (call sign “Magyar”) announced a large collection for the purchase of assault boats and high-speed engines for the Ukrainian marines.
“Militarny” reported in August that the Main Intelligence Directorate would receive UAH 250 million from the Kyiv city budget.
Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko also said that on October 26, at an extraordinary meeting, almost 1.5 billion UAH more were allocated from the budget of the capital of Ukraine to those who are defending Ukraine and its citizens today.
In his social networks, he reported that Kyiv has provided for and is sending more than 6.2 billion UAH to the defenders in 2023, of which 1.2 billion were additionally allocated at an extraordinary meeting on October 3.
And today we will add almost 1.5 billion more to this amount (of which the budget commission this morning, in particular, added 300 million to finance the “Defender of Kyiv” program)
