Now the Russians use more infantry, small attack groups and, in some sectors of the front, large attack groups of 30-40 people, said Alexander Shtupun.
Active battles continue in the direction of Avdeevsky. No need to talk about any permanent situation. This was said by the spokesman of the United Press Center of the Tauride Defense Forces, Alexander Shtupun, in a commentary for Channel 24 on Wednesday, October 25.
“The enemy tries to advance, and then we knock him back. Therefore, there is no need to talk about some kind of established situation. That is, active fighting continues there,” said Shtupun.
According to him, today the Russians use more infantry, small attack groups and, in some sectors of the front, large attack groups of 30-40 people. Ultimately they attack with fewer numbers, losing 2,500 killed and wounded in the last six days.
In the past 24 hours, the enemy has launched two missiles and 10 air strikes in the direction of Tauride. In addition, the enemy conducted 49 combats and carried out 932 attacks.
In turn, Ukrainian artillery completed 1,228 fire missions. The total loss of the enemy was 409 people. Moreover, three conquerors surrendered.
Defense forces destroyed 27 pieces of equipment: three tanks, eight armored vehicles and seven artillery systems. An enemy ammunition depot was also destroyed and 18 pieces of military equipment were damaged.
Earlier it was reported that the Russians were regrouping near Avdeevka, which had been under heavy attack for two weeks.
