Alexey Danilov stressed that ATACMS missiles are now operational and will continue to operate in Ukraine.
We should expect new supplies of American ATACMS ballistic missiles to Ukraine. The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexey Danilov hinted about this in the telethon. Something new.
The official therefore commented on the question of whether we should expect an increase in the supply of long-range ATACMS missiles and the possible receipt of Taurus missiles from Germany.
“After this (the use of ATACMS missiles, – edit.) reduced helicopter attacks on our troops. Moreover, most of the helicopters located on the territory of Crimea in general… fled from there. ATACMS is working and will continue to work,” he emphasized.
According to him, when Ukraine started receiving these missiles, “the first batch and the use of the first missile exceeded all expectations.”
Danilov added that “I really want the German side to make a positive decision” regarding the provision of Taurus missiles to Ukraine.
As is known, on the night of October 17, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched attacks on airfields of Russian troops near the occupied Berdyansk (Zaporozhye region) and Lugansk with long-range ATACMS missiles.
