The military installed this ATGM on the chassis of the American Humvee multi-purpose SUV. The soldiers of the 1st separate special forces brigade named after Ivan Bogun distinguished themselves by their resourcefulness. This was reported on October 22 at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that a jeep equipped with a “stog” is already being used at the front. Ukrainian defenders are firing directly from an SUV at the positions of the Russian occupiers.
As is known, the Stugna ATGM is capable of hitting hostile targets at a distance of up to 5 thousand meters. The complex is semi-automatic, with a laser beam guidance system. This anti-tank weapon can fire 130 mm or 152 mm shells with different warheads. During a full-scale war, “Stugna” demonstrated itself perfectly – it effectively destroys Russian armored vehicles. The fighters even managed to destroy a Russian helicopter in the air from this complex.
Let us recall that in August, Minister for Strategic Industries Alexander Kamyshin said that in July of this year the production of Stugna-P anti-tank missile systems in Ukraine quadrupled.
