This is stated in an Associated Press investigation.
Journalists say they analyzed dozens of videos of moments before, during and after the hospital explosions, as well as satellite images. These photographs suggest that, most likely, the rocket was fired from Palestine, exploded in the air, and the debris fell on the hospital grounds.
The publication notes that it is now impossible to collect evidence on the spot and conduct the necessary examinations in connection with the hostilities, so it is impossible to definitively confirm the relationship between the explosion in the hospital and the disintegration of the rocket. At the same time, a number of experts specializing in OSINT research and missile technology consider the journalists’ version to be plausible.
In the absence of further evidence, the most likely scenario is that it was a missile launched from Gaza that failed mid-flight and ended up in the hospital by mistake, said former U.S. Army intelligence analyst Henry Schlottman.
Earlier, the Ministry of Health of the Gaza Strip stated that hundreds of people were killed as a result of the explosion on the territory of the Al-Ahli hospital. The IDF denies this information and blames terrorists for the attack.
