In the direction of Avdeevsky, the Defense Forces rejected about 15 attacks of the enemy, in the direction of Maryinsky – more than 20 attacks of the invaders.
During the day, 68 military clashes took place on the front. The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult. This was stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Saturday, October 21.
Russian troops carried out four missile and 33 air strikes, and carried out 24 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and populated areas. Russian attacks have resulted in civilian deaths and injuries.
In the direction of Kupyansk, Ukrainian soldiers repelled more than 10 enemy attacks in the areas of Sinkovka, Ivanovka, Kharkov region and Nadiya, Lugansk region.
In the direction of Liman, the Defense Forces repelled about 10 Russian attacks in the areas of Belogorovka in the Lugansk region, Serebryansky Forest and Spornoye in the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, Ukrainian soldiers repelled all enemy attacks in the areas of Vasyukivka and Andreevka in the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Avdeevsky, the enemy carried out unsuccessful attack operations with the support of aviation in the areas of the settlements of Avdeevka, Keramik, Stepnoe, Tonenkoe, Pervomaiskoye, Donetsk region. Here, Ukrainian defenders repelled about 15 enemy attacks.
At the direction of Maryinsky, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Marinka, Krasnogorovka and Pobeda in the Donetsk region. Here the Defense Forces repulsed more than 20 enemy attacks.
In the Shakhtarsky direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled all Russian attacks in the Prechistovka, Zolotaya Niva, and Staromayorsky areas, Donetsk region. And in the direction of Zaporozhye – an enemy attack in the north of Priyutnoye, Zaporozhye region.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue offensive operations in the direction of Melitopol, offensive (attack) actions in the direction of Bakhmut, causing damage to Russian troops in manpower and equipment, and -exhausted the enemy in the entire front line.
During the day, Defense Forces aircraft carried out 12 strikes on areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.
The missile force units hit five artillery weapons, a radar station, an ammunition depot, an anti-aircraft missile system and two areas where Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated.
Let’s remember that since the start of the war against the Ukrainian people, Russia has lost 292,850 military personnel killed. In the last 24 hours alone, around 790 conquerors have been liquidated.
