The Cabinet of Ministers made changes to traffic rules designed to bring Ukrainian legislation closer to European Union legislation. This was announced by the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk on Telegram on Friday, October 20.
What has changed in traffic rules:

Drivers outside populated areas must turn on daytime running lights while driving year-round (previously this rule was in effect from October 1 to May 1). If they are not in the design of the car, low beam headlights.

it is prohibited to transport children under 150 cm in height in vehicles without the use of child restraint systems that allow the child to be fastened using the seat belts provided for the design of this vehicle, and in the back that seat of a motorcycle and moped, except in some cases;

clarified the list of road signs indicating special parking spaces on highways and roads for vehicles.
It was earlier reported that this year the number of pedestrians violating road safety rules is increasing rapidly.
