The relocation of MiG-31 fighters to occupied Sevastopol does not mean that these Russian aircraft will be permanently stationed in Crimea.

The decision of the Russian command to send MiGs to Crimea is a continuation of the “horror stories” of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin about patrolling invaders over the Black Sea. The speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, announced this on October 20 during a telethon.
The speaker of the “airmen” emphasized that the aggressor country uses about 40 airfields for attacks on Ukraine. And Russian aviation is constantly relocating from one airport to another.
They will not necessarily use Belbek for MiG-31 aircraft… Today they can be there, and tomorrow they will fly somewhere to Rostov or in the future,” Ignat noted.
He also added that it is not a problem for aviation to fly from distant airfields and carry out patrols. However, this will increase the flight time.
Let us recall that on October 18, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said that he had ordered the start of “constant patrolling” in the neutral zone over the Black Sea by MiG-31 aircraft with Kinzhal missiles. The war criminal stressed that this is “not a threat” and added that the “daggers” have a range of more than 1 thousand km.
On October 19, satellite images of four MiG-31 fighters at the Belbek airfield in occupied Sevastopol were published online.
