Germany has transferred a new batch of Gepard anti-aircraft guns to Ukraine

The defenders of Ukraine have already received 49 Gepard anti-aircraft guns, which help to effectively destroy Russian drones.

The Ukrainian military has received a new batch of aid from Germany, which includes three more Gepard anti-aircraft tanks. The German government announced this on Friday, October 20.

It is indicated that Ukrainian defenders have already received 49 Gepard anti-aircraft installations, which help to effectively destroy Russian drones.

The new aid package also includes:

  • 20 RQ-35 Heidrun drones;

  • 20 Vector drones;

  • 1 Biber bridge layer;

  • 3 HX81 tractors and 3 trailers for them;

  • 13 border security vehicles;

  • 3872 smoke shells of 155 mm caliber.

We remind you that today the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky held negotiations with the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

Earlier, Germany announced that it was preparing a winter aid package for Ukraine worth 1 billion euros. It will include the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system.
