A resident of the Zhytomyr region received 15 years in prison for the rape and molestation of two young adopted daughters. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Prosecutors proved in court that a resident of Korostyshev raped and abused two young sisters – his godmothers – for many years.
The man reportedly visited his godparents and occasionally brought his godparents to his home to “stay.” Placing gifts and sometimes threatening the children, he raped and harmed them.
To keep them quiet, he bought them mobile phones, tablets, clothes, shoes, and gave them money.
In court, the man did not admit his guilt, but it was fully proven and the rapist was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
He will remain in custody until sentencing.
