Thanks to Etsy Payments, Ukrainians can officially open shops on the platform and sell goods abroad.
The payment interface of the Etsy online platform, which unites more than 90 million buyers from around the world, will be launched in Ukraine. The Minister of Digital Transform, Mikhail Fedorov, announced this on October 18.
He noted that Etsy specializes in selling handmade items, vintage items, and craft products.
“Before, users from Ukraine could not open new shops on Etsy. With the launch of Etsy Payments, this changes – Ukrainians can officially open shops on the platform, sell goods to people from America, Europe, Asia, and others,” the head of the Ministry of Digital Development emphasized.
He added that with Etsy Payments, sellers will have access to Etsy Purchase Protection and dedicated 24/7 support. Merchants can also manage all their store’s financial information.
It was previously reported that the American company Home Essentials is setting up production in Kremenets, Ternopil region.
