Moreover, 80% of the participants in the so-called special military operation, undergoing medical and social examination, had amputations of the lower extremities. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Alexey Vovchenko, Interfax reports.
About 54% of all those examined were recognized as disabled with amputation of limbs. This is such a glaring issue, it’s a lot. Among civilian disabled people, we do not have such a percentage with amputations, admitted a representative of the Russian dictatorship.
The minister added that the department weekly monitors deadlines and recommendations for all participants in the war with Ukraine.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on October 17 that the total combat losses of the enemy since the beginning of the Russian invasion amounted to about 289 thousand 430 soldiers, officers and mercenaries. Over the past 24 hours, October 16, 800 occupiers were liquidated.
Let us recall that in August the British Ministry of Defense announced that Russia had lost at least half of the airborne troops who were sent to the war against Ukraine in 2022 – as a result of the fighting, at least 15 thousand paratroopers were eliminated.
