Local collaborator and so-called head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov said that on the night of October 17, 8 drones were allegedly shot down while trying to attack Russian military targets on the peninsula. He wrote about this on Telegram.
According to the traitor, all UAVs were neutralized on approach to Crimea. The enemy allegedly used electronic warfare and air defense systems. However, Aksenov did not provide any other details.
Let us recall that on October 6 and 7, Russian air defense allegedly repelled a UAV attack in occupied Sevastopol. Local Gauleiter Mikhail Razvozhaev and the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that air defense was working on a drone that was apparently shot down 10 km from the southwestern coast of the Crimean Peninsula.
