A package combining aid to Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan is being drawn up, the sources said.
Israel has asked the United States for military aid worth $10 billion, The New York Times reported yesterday, citing three knowledgeable sources.
Lawmakers and the White House are developing a package that would include aid to Israel with aid to Ukraine, funds to strengthen the US-Mexico border and Taiwan, the report said.
The publication recalls that earlier, during a visit to Tel Aviv, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said that US lawmakers discussed providing Israel with ammunition for the Iron Dome missile defense system, 155-mm projectiles, precision bombs and JDAM kits for converting conventional bombs into precision bomb ammunition.
Let’s remember that the United States is capable of providing simultaneous military support to Ukraine and Israel. President Joe Biden announced this.
It is also known that Biden will release his request for additional funding this week, including funds for Ukraine and Israel.
