This station is part of the Borisoglebsk-2 automated electronic suppression complex. A photo of the destroyed car was published on social networks.
“Military” writes that the R-934BMW station is located on the MT-LBu self-propelled tracked chassis, which provides high mobility and maneuverability in medium terrain.
The released images indicate that after being hit by a Ukrainian FPV drone, the station of the Russian electronic warfare complex received significant damage, resulting in its complete destruction. The consequences of a powerful explosion and combustion are visible on the body of the car.
The main task of the RB-301B Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare complex is to identify and suppress various communication channels and other systems using radio signals. The vehicle of this complex was captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the beginning of the great war with the Russian Federation.
First of all, these are communication and control systems at the tactical level, in particular satellite ones. In addition, it is possible to suppress radio navigation systems. This Russian electronic countermeasures system includes various types of equipment that are designed to perform a wide range of tasks. Namely, the R-330KMV control center with R-378BMW, R-330BMW, R-934BMW and R-325UMV jamming stations. All means of the complex are placed on the MT-LBu self-propelled chassis.
