The exodus of Ukrainians from Israel continues; more than 200 people have already been taken to Romania – mostly women and children; new flights are being prepared.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said there are about 260 Ukrainians in the Gaza Strip, and diplomats are working with partners to evacuate them.
“Diplomats, intelligence and security forces of Ukraine continue to work to help our citizens who are stranded in the Middle East – in Israel and the Gaza Strip. The evacuation of Ukrainians from Israel continues. More than 200 people were brought to Romania – mostly women and children, and many more flights are being prepared. About 260 of our people are known to be currently in the Gaza Strip. Exit from there is blocked for citizens of all countries, but we are working with partners to evacuate our citizens,” Zelensky said in his traditional evening speech.
The President assured that Ukrainian diplomats are ready to help every citizen in need.
Let’s remember that Israel has resumed the water supply to the Gaza Strip, which was stopped after the Hamas attack on Israel on Saturday.
